My Peculiar Ashwagandha Experience

Regular readers might recall that I began micro-dosing Ashwagandha back in November.

Well, it’s been a few months now, so I thought I might share some of my experiences.

I was hoping to improve my stress and anxiety levels but, six months on, I’ve also discovered some outcomes that I wasn’t expecting.

I’m still trying to understand them.

But first, a little background.

What is Ashwagandha?

Ashwagandha (or Withania Somnifera) is a herb that has been used for centuries in traditional Ayurvedic medicine. It’s thought to have a wide-range of health benefits (although there needs to be more research into these benefits, in my view).

Some of the benefits might include:

  • Stress Reduction
  • Improved Mood
  • Increased Energy and Stamina
  • Enhanced Cognitive Function
  • Immune System Support
  • Anti-Inflammatory Properties
  • Hormonal Balance
  • Improved Sleep Quality
